Our Purpose

Our purpose is to further the message, values, principles of our Prophet (S.A) and the Ahleybait. Our objective is to facilitate people be more knowledgable, more empathetic and kind, more adaptive, more human and in doing so help create harmony in communities and society.

Our Story

Mirza Ahmed Shirazee and Mrs Shameem Shirazee founded the Aza Khana e Zehra in the 1964 with a vision to provide a safe space for the community to engage in religious discourse, and a vehicle for the development of people. Today the Aza Khana e Zehra hosts and serves 1.5 million people/year.

The Aza Khana e Zehra Trust is a private Trust, and Mirza Ahmed Shirazee’s select children and grandchildren continue serving the community and are aspiring to the founder’s vision.
